The 1st landmark Meeting of Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (APPEIRC) was held on 18th December 2020 at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DH&TE), Itanagar, under the chairmanship of Shri Marnya Ete, IAS (Retd.), Chairperson, APPEIRC.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Debabrata Das, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Ms Niharaika Rai, IAS (Secy. Education), GoAP, Dr. Tayek Talom, Director, DH&TE, GoAP, Shri Sanjay Bengia, Dy. Director, DH&TE, GoAP, Shri Joram Muthu, Nodal Officer, DH&TE,GoAP and other officers etc.

The meeting marked the formal beginning of the Commission’s activities, where members assembled to deliberate on key agenda items concerning regulation, governance, and the functioning of private educational institutions in Arunachal Pradesh.

Under the chairmanship of Shri Marnya Ete, IAS (Retd.), Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, the first ever meeting with the Vice-Chancellors of the Private Universities of Arunachal Pradesh was held on 26th April 2021 at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DH&TE), ESS-Sector, Itanagar, A.P.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Debabrata Das, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, the Vice-Chancellors of the private universities of Arunachal Pradesh, and officers of the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education and APPEIRC.

In pursuance of Govt. Order No. HTE-17/05/2021 HTE-BR-HTE dated 29/07/2021, the first meeting of the Mother Act Expert Committee members was held on 6th August 2021 at the premises of DH&TE,Itanagar under the Chairmanship of Shri Marnya Ete, IAS (Retd.), Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC to deliberate on the proposed Mother Act for Private Universities in the State of Arunachal Pradesh.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Debabrata Das, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secreatry, APPEIRC, Dr. Tayek Talom, Director, DH&TE, GoAP, Shri Joram Muthu, OSD(HE), GoAP and other expert Committee Members.

After detailed deliberations, the Expert Committee finalized its recommendations for incorporation into the proposed Arunachal Pradesh University Bill, 2021, which was subsequently submitted to the Commissioner, Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, vide No. APPEIRC/27/2021 dated 11/08/2021, for further necessary action.

Shri Marnya Ete, IAS (Retd.), Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, chaired the first ever meeting of APPEIRC with the Principals of Private Colleges of Arunachal Pradesh on 5th October 2021 at the Conference Hall, Department of Higher & Technical Education (DH&TE), ESS Sector, Itanagar.

The meeting was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Debabrata Das, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC and the Principals of various private colleges of Arunachal Pradesh to deliberate on matters relating to higher education and regulatory compliance.

After completing the inspection cum inquiry of Apex Professional University, Pasighat, Prof. Debabrata Das, Hon’ble Member of the Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission accompanied by Shri Chiken Riba, PA to Member, APPEIRC, attended a one-day workshop on “Investment in Education and Personality Development” held at Tinsukia Commerce College, Assam on 18th November 2021.

Pursuant to Order No. HTE-17/56/2021-HTE-BR-HTE, the 1st Core Committee Members Meeting of Commission was held on 7th February 2022 at the Conference Hall of the DH&TE, Itanagar under the Chairmanship of Shri Marnya Ete,IAS (Retd.), Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC to deliberated on the provisions of Section 9 (a) of the Arunachal Pradesh Colleges and Other Institutions of Higher Education (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2010 and examined matters relating to its effective implementation.

The meeting was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Debabrata Das, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, Shri Alik Jongkey, Director, DH&TE, GoAP, Shri Joram Muthu, OSD(HE), GoAP and others members etc.

Based on its deliberations, the Committee finalized its recommendations and submitted the report to the Hon'ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh and the Commissioner, Education, Govt. of A.P on 14th February 2022.

On the invitation of the Hon’ble Chancellor of Apex Professional University, Pasighat Shri Marnya Ete, IAS (Retd.), Hon’ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, attended the 9th Convocation Ceremony as the Chief Guest held on 24th March 2022 at the University.

During the visit, he also toured the University campus, reviewed the infrastructure facilities, and interacted with the faculty members and students.

A meeting of the Vice Chancellors of all the Private Universities functioning in Arunachal Pradesh was held on 22nd June, 2022 at the Conference Hall, Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DH&TE), Itanagar, under the chairmanship of Er. Taba Tadir, Hon'ble Minister (Education), Govt of A.P.

The meeting was attended by Shri Kento Rina, Hon'ble MLA-cum-Advisor to the Hon'ble Minister (Education), Govt. of AP, Shri Marnya Ete, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, Prof. H.K. Sardana, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, Shri Alik Jongkey, Director, Higher & Technical Education (DH&TE), Govt.A.P, Shri Joram Muthu, OSD(HE), GoAP, officers of APPEIRC and DH&TE and the Vice Chancellors of the Private Universities of Arunachal Pradesh.

On 21st July 2022, Prof. (Dr.) H.K. Sardana, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, accompanied by Shri Chiken Riba, PA cum PRO, APPEIRC, met Prof. Saket Kushwaha, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Doimukh, at the Vice Chancellor's Office.

The meeting was held to strengthen coordination and institutional cooperation between APPEIRC and Rajiv Gandhi University. During the interaction, both sides discussed the need for a joint meeting involving senior officials of APPEIRC and Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, A.P.

It was mutually agreed to organize a comprehensive meeting between 10th and 12th August 2022 with the objective of fostering better understanding, strengthening institutional synergy, and ensuring effective implementation of the regulatory framework governing higher education institutions in Arunachal Pradesh.

On 12th September 2022, Prof. Harish Kumar Sardana, Hon’ble Member, APPEIRC alongwith Shri Chiken Riba, PA to Member, APPEIRC attended the 9th Foundarion day of North East Frontier Technical University, West Siang, Aalo, A.P

After attending 9th foundation of NEFTU, Aalo, Prof. H.K Sardana, Hon’ble Member APPEIRC accompanied by Shri Chiken Riba, PA to Member, APPEIRC interacted with faculty Members and students on 13th September 2022. During the interaction, he shared valuable insights to students and faculty members.

Prof. Harish Kumar Sardana, Hon’ble Member, APPEIRC attended the 6th Convocation Ceremony of Apex Professional University (APU), Pasighat, on 15th October 2022 as the Guest of Honour.

The programme was also graced by Shri Kento Rina, Hon’ble MLA cum Advisor to the Hon’ble Minister (Education), Govt. of A.P, as the Chief Guest.

As invited by the Hon’ble Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Science,Ziro shri Marnya Ete, IAS(Retd), Hon’ble Chairperson,APPEIRC attended as Guest of Honour in the Convocation held on 7th November 2022 at Ziro.

He also visited the University campus and took stock of the infrastructure and interacted with the faculty members and the students etc.

Dr. A.K Tripathy,Secretary,APPEIRC attended the 44th World management Congress as special Guest & addressed the galaxy of intellectuals, academic administrations & subject experts held at Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Science, Ziro w.e.f 15th to 16th May 2023.

The theme of the program was “Optimum Development of Aruanchal Pradesh Prospects,constraints,Challeges and Dimention. The Congress was inaugurated by Er. Taba Tedir, Hon'ble Minister (Education), Govt. A.P as the Chief Guest.

On 30th July 2024, Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, accompanied by Shri Chiken Riba, PA cum PRO, APPEIRC, and Ms. Kari Riba, PA to Chairperson, APPEIRC, visited Arunachal Pradesh University, Pasighat.

During the visit, the APPEIRC team met Prof. Tomo Riba, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, and Shri Narmi Darang, Registrar, Arunachal Pradesh University, and interacted on various matters relating to higher education, academic development, and institutional functioning in the State.

Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson, APPEIRC inaugurated the Girls’ Hostel of Apex Professional University on 1st August 2024.

The inauguration programme was accompanied by Ms Kari Riba PA to Chairperson and Shri Chiken Riba PA cum PRO, APPEIRC. During the visit, the Hon’ble Chairperson also interacted with the students and reviewed the hostel facilities and infrastructure.

The Convocation Ceremony of Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University, Ziro was attended by Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson, APPEIRC and Dr. Limo Ete, Hon’ble Member, APPEIRC joined by Shri Chiken Riba, PA cum PRO, APPEIRC on 28th August 2025.

The programme was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh in his capacity as the Visitor and Chief Guest of the University.

The 1st Joint Consultative Meeting between APPEIRC, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), and the State Health Councils was held under the chairmanship of Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson, APPEIRC was held on 6th Sep, 2024 at Chairperson APPEIRC Chamber.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Limo Ete, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. T. Kaki, Dy. Director of Medical Education, Dr. Inya Lingu, Registrar, Arunachal Pradesh Indian Medical Council (APIMC), Shri Ibom Ete, President, Arunachal Pradesh Pharmacy Council (APPC), Dr. Riyom Taipodia, Vice President, Arunachal Pradesh Homeopathy Council (APHC), Mr. Nangbia Tapin, Registrar cum Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Pharmacy Council (APPC) and Mrs. Lokam S. Nabam, Registrar, Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council (APNC).

The meeting resolved to strengthen coordination during inspections of private medical and allied health institutions and ensure compliance with statutory norms and quality standards.

A preliminary consultative meeting on the inspection of Private Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) was held in the Chamber of the Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC on 29th November 2024 under the chairmanship of Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Limo Ete, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. Tao Kaki, Dy. Director, DME, Prof. Topi Basar, HoD, Dept. of Law, RGU, Prof. Uttpal Bhattacharjee, Director, IQAC, RGU, Shri Nabam Tapi, Registrar, APPC, Mrs. Laxmi D. Sonam, Nursing Officer, APNC and Mrs. Shila D. Sono, Nursing Officer, APNC.

The meeting discussed the modalities for inspection of private HEIs and resolved to ensure effective coordination for maintaining statutory compliance and quality standards.

In pursuance of APPEIRC Order No. APPEIRC-131/2025/8008-12 dated 20th January, 2025, the 1st ever Joint Consultative Meeting with the authorities of all Private Nursing Institutions was held on 10th Feb, 2025 at the Chamber of the Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, Itanagar under the chairmanship of Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Limo Ete, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, along with the Principals and functionaries of all Private Nursing Institutions. The meeting deliberated on regulatory compliance, academic quality, and strengthening coordination to ensure effective implementation of statutory norms in nursing education across the State.

On 19th May 2025 under the chairmanship of Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, the 1st Joint Consultative Meeting with the Arunachal Pradesh Allied & Healthcare Council (APAHC) was held at the APPEIRC Office, Itanagar.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Limo Ete, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. Joram Aniya, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. Som Sankar Mukherjee, Chairperson, APAHC, Dr. Nabam Peter, Secretary, APAHC, and Dr. Tumpi Siram Rime, Registrar, APAHC.

The meeting deliberated on strengthening coordination for regulation, inspection, and implementation of statutory norms relating to allied and healthcare education in the State.

On 3rd September 2025, APPEIRC, under the chairmanship of Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, convened a meeting with the management of Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai and Himalayan University, Jollang to review compliance with the provisions of the APPEIRC Act, 2017. The meeting focused on the statutory deposit of 1% of student fees and other university-related matters.

After deliberations, the Commission directed both universities to deposit the applicable 1% statutory fee and submit the required Ph.D. programme details to APPEIRC.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Limo Ete, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. Joram Aniya, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Adv. Tagum Jamoh, Standing Counsel, APPEIRC and other functionaries of Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai and Himalayan University, Jollang along with other officials of the Commission and universities.

On 20th December 2025, Dr. Limo Ete, Hon'ble Member, Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (APPEIRC), attended the 8th Convocation Ceremony of Himalayan University, Jollang, Itanagar, representing the Commission.

The ceremony was graced by Lt. Gen. Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd.), Hon'ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. The occasion marked the conferment of degrees upon graduating students and highlighted the importance of quality higher education, academic excellence, and nation-building.

On 26th February 2026, Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, and Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, held an official meeting with the Advisor-I, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi.

During the meeting, they discussed various matters relating to higher and technical education, regulatory issues concerning private educational institutions, and other important issues pertaining to the development and quality of education in Arunachal Pradesh.

Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, along with Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, paid a courtesy call on the Secretary, University Grants Commission (UGC) on 27th February 2026, at New Delhi. The discussion focused on higher education reforms, university regulations, quality enhancement, and other issues of mutual interest etc.

An official meeting was held with the Deputy Secretary, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) on 27th Feb, 2026, New Delhi, wherein Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC and Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC discussed the implementation of the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) in Arunachal Pradesh, teacher education policies, and other issues of mutual interest.

ON 2ND March 2026, an official visit was made to the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (HPPEIRC), Shimla, wherein Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC and Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, held discussions with the Commission's officials on regulatory practices, institutional governance, and other matters of mutual interest relating to private higher education.

On 10th March 2026, Namdapha Nursing Institute, Miao organized a Hands-Only CPR Awareness Programme on the theme "Anyone Can Save Life with Hands-Only CPR," sponsored by the Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (APPEIRC).

Dr. T. Khimbun (MBBS, FMOSC, CHC, Miao) attended as the Resource Person and conducted a practical demonstration on Hands-Only CPR, emphasizing the importance of immediate emergency response and life-saving techniques during cardiac emergencies.

On 17th March 2026, Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson and Dr. A. K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC attended the One-Day Workshop on “Bridging Disciplines for Innovation and Sustainable Solutions: A Global Perspective” as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively at Arunodaya University, Lekhi Village Campus.

The programme was sponsored by APPEI Regulatory Commission, Itanagar with the objective of promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and sustainable solutions from a global perspective.

The workshop also featured distinguished resource persons Prof. Jayadeba Sahoo, Dept. of Education, RGU and Prof. Tage Rupa Sora, Dept. of Geography, RGU who delivered insightful sessions on interdisciplinary approaches, innovation, and sustainability.

On 20 March 2026, Dr. Limo Ete, Hon'ble Member, Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (APPEIRC), graced the State-Level Workshop on "Understanding NAAC's New Binary Accreditation Framework" as the Chief Guest at Don Bosco College, Jollang. He was accompanied by shri Chiken Riba, PA cum PRO, APPEIRC.

The workshop was sponsored by the Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (APPEIRC) and featured expert resource persons including Prof. Ghanashyam Bez, Director, IQAC, NEHU (Meghalaya); Prof. R.C. Parida, Former Director, IQAC, Rajiv Gandhi University; and Prof. S. Sagayaraj, Former Director, IQAC, Sacred Heart College, Tamil Nadu.

The programme aimed to enhance participants' understanding of NAAC's revised accreditation framework and strengthen quality assurance practices in higher educational institutions across Arunachal Pradesh.

On 23rd March 2026, APPEIRC organised a one-day workshop on "Teacher Education in Transition: A New Paradigm under NEP 2020" under the chairmanship of Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, in the presence of Dr. Limo Ete, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC and other officers of the Commission.

The workshop featured Prof. (Dr.) Dibyajyoti Mahanta, Chairperson, ERC, NCTE, New Delhi, as the keynote resource person and was attended by Vice Chancellors of private universities, Principals of colleges, and Deans/Heads of B.Ed. and M.Ed. departments. The deliberations focused on the implementation of NEP 2020 and teacher education reforms in Arunachal Pradesh.

Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC attended the valedictory function of “TECHXPLORE–26” organized by C.P. Namchoom Government Polytechnic as the Chief Guest, held from 2nd to 4th April 2026.

During the valedictory function, Dr. Tripathy appreciated the efforts of the institution in promoting technical education and providing a platform for students to exhibit their talents and innovative ideas. And also he advised that mutual competition should be followed by co-operation, co-ordination and cohesion.

On the invitation of Arunodaya University Dr. Joram Aniya, Hon’ble Member, APPEIRC alongwith Miss Gebi Ete, PA to Member, APPEIRC attended the 6th Convocation Ceremony of Arunodaya University, Jollang campus, Near Lok Bhawan/IRBN, Itanagar held on 22nd April 2026.

The programme was graced by Lt. Gen. K. T. Parnaik, Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, in his capacity as the Visitor of the University. The event was attended by University authorities, academicians, faculty members, students, and other distinguished guests.

On 30th April 2026, Dr. Joram Aniya, Hon'ble Member, APPEIRC met Ms. Jyothi B., Deputy Secretary, Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, to discuss the development and future prospects of nursing colleges in Arunachal Pradesh. The meeting was productive and focused on strengthening nursing education in the State.

On 22nd July 2026, Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, visited St. Joseph University, Dimapur, as part of his official tour programme. During the visit, he interacted with the university authorities and held discussions on matters relating to higher education, academic quality, institutional development, and regulatory compliance. The visit reflected APPEIRC's commitment to promoting excellence in higher education through constructive engagement with educational institutions.

As part of his official tour programme, Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, visited Nagaland University, Lumami, on 23rd July 2026. During the visit, he met with the university authorities and exchanged views on higher education, academic collaboration, research, and institutional best practices. The interaction provided an opportunity to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation and share perspectives on enhancing the quality of higher education.

On 28th July 2026, Prof. (Dr.) Pradip Lingfa, Chairman, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), paid a courtesy visit to Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, at his chamber. During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters relating to higher education, institutional development, and issues of mutual interest. The interaction reflected the cordial relationship and shared commitment of both constitutional/statutory bodies towards strengthening education and governance in Arunachal Pradesh.

On 29th July 2026, Shri Vijay Swami, Executive Director, RIWATCH, paid a courtesy visit to Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon'ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, at his chamber. Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, also joined the meeting. During the interaction, they exchanged views on matters relating to higher education, research, institutional collaboration, and issues of mutual interest. The meeting reflected the shared commitment of both institutions towards promoting academic excellence, research, and educational development in Arunachal Pradesh.

On 6th July 2026, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, met the Additional Secretary, Department of Skill Development and Technical Education, Government of Odisha. During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to skill development, technical education, institutional cooperation, and the exchange of best practices to strengthen the higher education and skill ecosystem. The interaction was cordial and focused on exploring opportunities for mutual collaboration and knowledge sharing.

As part of his official visit to Odisha, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, visited KISS (Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences) University, Bhubaneswar, on 7th July 2026. During the visit, he familiarized himself with the university's unique model of education, skill development, and social empowerment. The visit also facilitated discussions on educational innovation, inclusive learning, and institutional best practices.

On 7th July 2026, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, visited KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. During the visit, he interacted with the university authorities and observed its academic programmes, research and innovation facilities, and quality assurance practices. The visit provided valuable insights into institutional governance, technological advancement, and best practices in higher education, which could contribute to strengthening the higher education ecosystem in Arunachal Pradesh.

On 9th July 2026, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, visited C.V. Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. During the visit, he met with the President, Vice-Chancellor, and other senior officials of the University. The discussions focused on higher education, academic excellence, research and innovation, institutional governance, and quality assurance. The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange best practices and explore avenues for academic collaboration and institutional development.

On 10th July 2026, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, visited Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM), Khordha, Odisha. During the visit, he interacted with the university authorities.

On 13th July 2026, Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, visited Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. During the visit, he met with the Vice-Chancellor and other senior officials of the University. The discussions focused on academic excellence, research, innovation and quality assurance. The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange best practices and explore avenues for academic collaboration and institutional development.

Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, visited Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha on 14th July 2026,. During the visit, he met with the Vice-Chancellor and held a cordial discussion on matters relating to higher education, academic quality, research, institutional governance, and innovative educational practices. The interaction also provided an opportunity to exchange views on quality assurance, academic collaboration, and the adoption of best practices for strengthening higher education institutions.

Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, addressed the media following his study visit to leading private universities in Odisha w.e.f 6th July to 14th July 2026. He highlighted the best practices observed in higher education and stated that the experience would help strengthen quality assurance, academic excellence, and institutional development in higher education institutions across Arunachal Pradesh.

APPEIRC team led by Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson, Dr. Limo Ete, Hon’ble Member and Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC visited to Kameng Hydropower Station, Kimi, for tie-up of Private Technical Universities with the Power Station on 1st August 2026.

On 1st August 2026 Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson, Dr. Limo Ete, Hon’ble Member, and Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC visited to NIMAS and National Research Centre on Yak (NRCY) , Dirang for collaboration with Private Universities in adventure and sports-related programmes/courses .

On 21st August 2026, Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, along with Dr. Limo Ete, Hon’ble Member, and Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, visited D.K. Government College, Tawang.

On 22nd August 2026, Shri Tsering Naksang, Hon’ble Chairperson, Dr. Limo Ete, Hon’ble Member, and Dr. A.K. Tripathy, Secretary, APPEIRC, visited the Bichom Dam Site.
