A Statutory Body of Government of Arunachal Pradesh | Ensuring Quality Education Standards
Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (APPEIRC) is a statutory body set up by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh by passing an Act in the Legislative Assembly in the year 2017.
The Commission started functioning w.e.f. 1st July, 2020 with the joining of Chairperson Shri Marnya Ete (IAS) (Retd.).
The Commission is mandated to ensure that standards of admission, teaching, examinations, research, extension programmes, qualified teachers and infrastructure are being maintained by the private educational institutions in accordance with guidelines issued by the Regulatory Bodies of the Central Government or the State Government from time to time.
The Commission consists of a Chairperson, two Members and a Secretary to the Commission.
