From the Desk of Chairperson

It is my utmost privilege to serve as the Chairperson of the Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (a statutory body of Government of Arunachal Pradesh).

The Commission was established on 1st July 2020 as a statutory body by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh under the provisions of the Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions (Regulatory Commission) Act, 2017. The main objective of the Commission is to ensure proper standards in admission, teaching, examination, research, and to protect the interests of students studying in private higher educational institutions in the State.

The Commission regulates private universities, degree colleges, and other professional institutions such as technical, management, law, engineering, medical, pharmacy, Nursing and paramedical institutions. It also monitors the functioning of these institutions to ensure that they maintain quality education and provide a proper learning environment for students.

The Commission has developed mechanisms for inspection of institutions and for addressing grievances of students and parents. Institutions are also encouraged to establish proper grievance redressal systems to ensure fairness and transparency.

I look forward to the cooperation and support of Vice-Chancellors, Registrars, Directors, Principals, faculty members, and all stakeholders in strengthening the quality and standards of higher education in Arunachal Pradesh.

Together, we can work towards creating a better academic environment and ensuring that students receive quality education and opportunities for their future.
