On 16th July 2020, Shri Marnya Ete, IAS (Retd.), assumed office as the first Chairperson of APPEIRC. Shri Alik Jongkey, Director, DH&TE, Shri. A.K Misra, FAO, DH&TE, Shri Minto Ete, DSP(D-Rusa), DH&TE, Shri Joram Muthu, OSD, DH&TE, Itanagar and officers of the Dept. of Higher & Technical Education (DH&TE), Itanagar, extended a warm reception to him on his joining.

With his vast administrative experience in the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh as well as the Govt. of India, he played a significant role in the establishment and smooth functioning of the Commission during its initial years.

On 5th July 2023, he retirement from APPEIRC after rendering his valuable services.

Prof. (Dr.) Debabrata Das joined as first Member of APPEIRC, Itanagar on 1st October 2020 and was welcomed by Shri Marnya Ete, IAS (Retd), Chairperson, APPEIRC and rendered his dedicated services till 28th February 2022.

He was later relived from APPEIRC on his appointment as Vice Chancellor, Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of cooperative Management, Sivasagar, Assam.

Dr. A.K Tripathy, joined as first Secretary APPEIRC, Itanagar on 18th June 2021 and was received & greeted by Shri Marnya Ete, IAS (Retd), Hon’ble Chairperson, APPEIRC, Prof. Debabrata Das, Hon’ble Member and staffs of the commission.

He rendered his dedicated services till 30th June 2023. Subsequently, on 1st September 2025, he was re-appointed as Secretary of APPEIRC and has been rendering services to the commission till date.

Prof. H.K. Sardana, an eminent scientist, joined APPEIRC as Member on 2nd May 2022. With his vast experience in the field of science, technology and research, he contributed significantly towards the functioning and strengthening of the Commission during his tenure.

After rendering his valuable services till November 2022, he was relieved from APPEIRC on his appointment as Director of IIIT Raichur, Karnataka.

In pursuance of Govt. Order No. HTE-17/2021/1095-99 dated 5th July 2023, Dr. Joram Muthu, Jt. Director, Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DH&TE), Itanagar, was entrusted with the charge of Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (APPEIRC).

During his tenure, he discharged the responsibilities of Secretary with dedication and contributed to the administrative functioning, regulatory activities and effective coordination of the Commission. He rendered his services to APPEIRC till 31st August 2025.

Shri Tsering Naksang (former member of APPSSCE) joined as Chairperson, APPEIRC, Itanagar. He was accorded a warm reception by Dr. Joram Muthu, Secretary, APPEIRC and other officials of Commission at Chairperson Chamber, and has been rendering his valuable services to the commission since then.

On 19th July 2024 Dr. Limo Ete joined as Member, APPEIRC, Itanagar. He was received by Shri Tsering Naksang, Chairperson, APPEIRC, Dr. Joram Muthu, Secretary, APPEIRC and other officials etc at Chairperson, APPEIRC Chamber and has been rendering services to the Commission till date.

Dr. Joram Aniya joined as Member, APPEIRC on 30th April 2025 and rendered her valuable service till 7th May 2026. She was relieved from commission to join as full time Member of Niti Aayog, New Delhi.
